Sand

The sand assists in keeping the synthetic grass in an upright manner and to maximise its ability to withstand the wear and tear of normal everyday traffic.

Sand comes in 25kg bags. The manufacturers recommend applying 6kg of sand per square meter of artificial turf. The sand provides the foundation for the synthetic grass for withstanding normal traffic and gives the grass the spring to come upright after being walked upon by people and animals.
